What do you like best about being in this industry? My commitment to enhancing safety and preparedness is exemplified in the innovative Active Shooter Threat Alert System and GO SAFE mobile magazine products. By integrating cutting-edge technology with user-friendly design, I empower individuals and organizations to respond quickly and effectively in critical situations. What advice/tips do you have for clients?Do not put your security technology soplutions in a silo. Integrate your solutions
When is your busy season?24/7
What keeps you up at night? What keeps me up at night is the profound realization that many organizations still underestimate the importance of robust safety and security measures. Despite the increasing frequency of security challenges, there remains a troubling lack of proactive engagement and dedication to addressing these critical issues. It’s disheartening to see that too often, safety strategies are treated as reactive, rather than being integrated into the organizational culture. This complacency not only endangers employees and communities but also undermines the trust and confidence essential for a thriving environment. I am committed to advocating for a shift in mindset, encouraging organizations to prioritize safety with the same fervor as other business objectives, ensuring that we create safer spaces for everyone.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?Develop a budget and find the write strategy. Try and utilize organizations like Veterans Buzz to help market and promote my businesses.
How involved are you in the community?I assist the Navy SEAL Museum in their development and expansion to San Diego, CA. I also sit on Congressional service academy boards screening and submitting future cadets for nominations to Senators and Congresspersons in South Florida.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?Navy SEAL Museum
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business? When entering the safety and security space, one must think as the victim, aggressor and first responder to find a real solution.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Boating and spending time with family
