“On A Mission” showcases leaders who are going the extra mile each and every day. Each of the people we interview is on a mission to serve, inspire and educate. Our hosts highlight their impact and explore what motivates, engages and fulfills individuals and teams to be more productive, more effective, better at what they do, and happier to do it. Today our host, Beth Tate spoke with Robin Pfalzgraf.

Short company description:

Jacksonville Community Land Trust (JCLT) is a nonprofit organization that creates permanently affordable homeownership opportunities for low- to moderate-income families in Jacksonville. By retaining ownership of the land and selling homes through a renewable 99-year ground lease, JCLT helps families build equity while keeping homes affordable for future generations.

What nonprofit do you have a heart for and how do you support it?

Jacksonville Community Land Trust has my heart. As Executive Director, I help create permanently affordable homeownership opportunities so families can build stability, equity, and a stronger future.

What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?

I love connecting people with opportunities and resources that make a lasting difference. Whether through housing, volunteering, or supporting families, I find joy in working alongside others to meet real needs.

If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?

I’d want to be remembered as someone who cared about people and showed up for them. My faith is a big part of that. I want people to know they mattered to me, that I listened, and that I did what I could to help. If someone can say, “She was there when I needed her,” that would mean a lot to me.
