Short company description:

We are a non-profit ministry that works to advance the Gospel in the Democratic Republic of Congo through education and community building.

If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?

Everyone has a part to play. There are goers and senders. The goers cannot go without the people who send them. And the senders cannot send if there is no one to go. We need each other.

What differentiates you from the competition?

While there are many ministries that work in Africa, there are few that work in DRC. DRC is a tough place to get into initially and then have any sort of staying power. By the grace of God, we have a presence there with two active sites. We also do school and church planting, so we don’t focus on only children, or only adults, or only provision, or only church planting, but rather the community as a whole.

What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?

Don’t be discouraged…or rather when you are discouraged, keep going. God is still working and knows the plan.

What volunteer experience has impacted you the most?

Matt’s mission trip to DRC changed everything in our faith and our lives. Through that we felt called to start doing what we could to partner with the people in DRC in different ways, which eventually led to the starting of the ministry.

What’s one cause you’re passionate about?

Missions. Missions. Missions.

How do you encourage your team to make a difference?

Sharing what God is already doing, I think, naturally brings people to want to be a part of it. At least, I know it did for us, and that has been our experience with others.
